Samsung has announced its latest foldable smartphones, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6, at its Unpacked event. The Z Fold 6 features a 7.6-inch internal foldable display and a 6.2-inch cover screen, while the Z Flip 6 has a 6.7-inch foldable display that folds vertically. Both devices are powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor and run on Android 13 with Samsung’s One UI 5.1 software. The Z Fold 6 boasts improved multitasking capabilities, including a new “Flex Mode” that optimizes apps for the foldable form factor. The Z Flip 6 introduces a larger cover screen and improved cameras. Samsung has also focused on durability, with an Armor Aluminum frame and Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection. The Z Fold 6 starts at $1,799, while the Z Flip 6 starts at $999, and both will be available for pre-order starting August 10th.
