The Quest headsets saw over 2 million installs globally across the App Store and Google Play between December 24th and January 1st, marking a 30% year-over-year increase. The Horizon app also saw a surge, with over 500,000 installs during the same period, up 57% from the previous year. This surge in downloads suggests that consumer interest in Meta’s VR offerings remains strong, despite the company’s recent struggles and layoffs.
