Japan Airlines (JAL) has launched a new service that allows passengers departing from Tokyo’s Haneda Airport to have their luggage transported directly to their final destination. The “BAGGAGE DELIVERY” service is available for domestic flights within Japan and select international routes. Passengers can drop off their luggage at a designated counter up to 24 hours before their scheduled departure time. The bags are then transported separately from the passengers and delivered to their final destination, such as a hotel or residence, within a specified time frame. The service aims to provide a more convenient and hassle-free travel experience for passengers, especially those with connecting flights or long layovers. JAL hopes to expand the service to more international routes in the future.
