The study examined OpenAI’s ChatGPT, Google’s Gemini, Microsoft’s Copilot, and Deepseek, finding that each AI exhibits distinct personality traits. ChatGPT demonstrated a strong ‘S’ (Steadiness) profile, characterized by its diplomatic, consistent, and supportive communication style. Google’s Gemini showed high ‘C’ (Conscientiousness) traits, emphasizing accuracy and analytical thinking. Microsoft’s Copilot displayed a balanced profile with slightly elevated ‘I’ (Influence) characteristics, showing adaptability in communication. The assessment revealed that these AI models’ personalities significantly impact their interactions with users and their approach to problem-solving. The study suggests that understanding these personality differences could help users choose the most appropriate AI tool for specific tasks. Notably, the research highlights how AI models’ built-in personality traits affect their responses, with some being more direct and others more collaborative.
